the team

We founded our team in 2010 always aiming to help local cyclists with a passion for downhill, making them feel part of a racing team within a big family.
Supporting them and helping them to improve in training, competitions, psychologically, personally and in communication for social networks.

During these years we have seen great people who have evolved at all levels, both personal and sporting.

Since the beginning we have participated in competitions at Andalusian and national level, and since 2013 at international level in World Cups. For us, competing means motivation, adrenaline, meeting people, sharing adventures…

The team represents very important values for us. Values of effort, self-improvement, responsibility, respect, sportsmanship and teamwork.

GOALS 2022

Sursun Racing Team during the 2022 season will mainly participate in the Spanish Open Downhill, National Championship and Andalusian events.
Depending on the team’s results we have the ambition to participate in a World Cup event during the season with the aim of making the cut for the top60 world qualifier. This will also depend on whether we have been able to score UCI points in international events prior to the World Cup.

Apart from results and competitions, the team will also aim to be a national reference and inspiration for MTB riders.
